Delete your account and data

Effective date: July 24, 2026

OnTime is a workplace application: accounts are created by the company you work for. You can have your account closed and your personal data removed at any time.

Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app

Open OnTime, tap the account icon in the top bar, then Delete my account. You confirm with your password and the account is closed immediately: your name, email, phone, Telegram and Apple links, photo and password are erased and you can no longer sign in.

Your hours, daily reports and payroll records stay in the company history without your name. They are your employer's records of work performed and money paid, kept for tax and labour-law reasons — deleting them would corrupt other people's payroll.

Option 2 — ask your manager

Any administrator or director in your company can deactivate and delete your account from Team → your profile → Delete. This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

Option 3 — request it from us directly

Email support@ontime.management from the address your account uses, with the subject “Delete my OnTime account”. We verify the request with your employer's administrator and complete it within 30 days. We will confirm by email when it is done.

What is deleted

What may be retained, and why

Hours worked, payroll amounts and submitted work reports are employment and tax records. Canadian payroll legislation requires an employer to retain them (generally for at least seven years), so they cannot be erased on request. After your account is deleted these records are de-identified — your name is replaced by an internal reference — and remain only in the employer's accounting history.
